Mission Statement
Our Mission is to offer recovering addicts an alternative to familiar, chaotic environment that they were living in before treatment. The goal of providing this alternative environment is to allow recovering addicts to establish a strong foundation of sobriety without the distractions of the same old "people, places and things."
My Story
My name is Trey Denson, and I have the privilege of serving as Director of Delightful Living Recovery Housing. My journey here is rooted in both struggle and redemption.
In the late 1980s, I battled addiction, which led to incarceration and years of hardship. But in that season, I gave my life to the Lord, and everything changed. By God’s grace, I was restored, and I committed myself to building a new path.
Since then, I’ve earned degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am now pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. More importantly, I’ve dedicated my life to helping men find freedom from addiction through compassion, structure, and faith.
At Delightful Living, we provide a Christ-centered sober living environment where second chances become reality. My life is proof that with God, restoration is possible—and it is my mission to walk alongside others as they discover that same hope.
